Terms of Service

Last updated: April 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website curedcreationsyeg.ca and the catering services provided by Cured Creations by Sarah ("we", "us"). By using our site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Website use

Content on this website — text, images, logos — is the property of Cured Creations by Sarah unless otherwise credited, and is provided for personal, non-commercial browsing. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish content without written permission.

2. Inquiries and quotes

Submitting a form does not constitute a booking. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing is reviewed periodically and may change for future bookings.

3. Bookings and deposits

Events are confirmed upon receipt of a signed service agreement and a non-refundable retainer deposit (typically 30% of the total). The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event. Specific payment terms are included in your service agreement.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

5. Guest count and menu changes

Final guest count and menu selections must be confirmed in writing 10 days before the event. Minor changes after that date will be accommodated where possible; material increases may incur additional charges based on ingredient availability.

6. Dietary and allergen accommodations

We accommodate most dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, halal, kosher-style, low-sodium). We operate in a kitchen that handles common allergens; while we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Guests with severe allergies are responsible for reviewing the allergen map provided and making informed choices.

7. Venue, setup, and cleanup

You are responsible for ensuring the venue permits outside catering, has adequate space and power, and provides reasonable access for load-in and load-out. We leave the venue in the condition we found it. We are not liable for damage to venue fixtures beyond ordinary wear caused by standard catering activities.

8. Weather and force majeure

For outdoor events, you are responsible for weather-appropriate backup plans. We will work with you to reschedule or relocate in cases of force majeure (severe weather, public-health orders, natural disasters). Retainer credit applies for one future date within 12 months in these circumstances.

9. Photography

We photograph our work at events for portfolio, marketing, and social media use. We will not show identifiable guests without consent. If you would prefer no photography at your event, notify us in writing before the event date.

10. Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Intellectual property

All proposals, menu designs, and styling concepts are our intellectual property until a booking is confirmed and paid. Do not share proposals with other vendors or use our concepts without our written consent.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Edmonton, Alberta.
